We’re just putting the final touches to our next issue (366). It’s packed full of our usual ensemble of tests, features, rides and tips and although, like a lot of you we’ve spent the last 10 days working from home, it won’t look a lot different to usual. These are extraordinary times, however, and again, like many of you, we’re having to change the way we work and so, from issue 367, until things change, Cycling Plus is going to look a little different.
We’ll still be producing it each month and, hopefully, you’ll still be buying it, but we’ve taken the decision to stop all outdoor testing and ride features for the time being. So we’ll need to improvise. There’ll be tests to read in the upcoming issues from the bikes we’ve already ridden and rated, but there’ll be more gear retrospectives, profiles of companies, products and people, ways to keep fit and healthy during these unusual times and ideas to inspire you for when we do get back out there riding in the way we like to. No doubt,there’ll also be plenty of comment and reaction to how we – and the cycling world at large – is coping in what are strange times indeed.
Whether you’re like some of our team members who are able to get out on their bikes (within government guidelines, of course!), or like those who are choosing to stay indoors and stay fit in whatever way works for them, we’re hoping that you’ll still get plenty from our upcoming issues of the mag. The issue that we start work on next week (367), and perhaps several issues after that will certainly be unlike anything we’ve put together before, but we’re working our socks off to ensure that’s a positive thing.
