Watch Team Alpecin at the Tour de Yorkshire Sportive
Les Pegler, Murray Cox and Laura Cook (as well as CP editor Rob) put on their Katusha Team Alpecin kit and headed to the Tour de Yorkshire Sportive in early May.
On May the 6th the British members of Team Alpecin headed to Leeds for the Maserati Tour de Yorkshire sportive ride. The 80-mile ride, with over 7000 feet of climbing, was held as part of a weekend of cycling – including fiercely contested pro races – in 'God's Own Country'.
In case you've missed it, Team Alpecin GB is made up of three Cycling Plus readers, and editor Rob, and they training for L'Etape du Tour in July. As well as the Brits there are also riders from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Italy in a truly international team!
