Hill climbing is one of those quirky British cycling traditions that cyclists from other parts of the world look at with equal amounts of bewilderment, awe and jealousy. Probably.

Hill climbing season comes along every autumn after another British cycling tradition – time trialling season – finishes, and the men and women who love making themselves hurt against the clock turn to making themselves really, really hurt against the clock and a steep hill!

Our friends over on Bikeradar fall into this camp and they're creating a series of videos following their short and not always very sweet adventures. The first video is below, but be sure to check out the whole series. It's ace!
